SONY XPERIA TIPO DUAL REVIEW
With the advancement of time people use their phones for more than just the purpose of making a call. Technology has given a mobile phone more power and use and hence, people try to balance their tasks, duties, work and lives through their phones. Such is the power that Sony has given its Xperia Tipo Dual; being a dual sim phone this particular Xperia phone lets you manage your personal and business life on one mobile phone singlehandedly. The Xperia Tipo Dual is a brilliant phone that comes with a lot more than just dual sim feasibility; it is beautiful in looks, great in performance, filled with great features and comes with an affordable price tag. Talking about Xperia Tipo Dual, it is impossible to miss its small exterior which strikes a balance between the perfect size, with dimensions of 103 x 57 x 13 mm, and the perfect weight of 99.4 grams. The front of the phone comprises of a 3.2 inch screen, which is TFT capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels and scratch resistant glass. With such enhanced beauty the phone goes further to giving a lot more. The second best quality that this phone incorporates, after its dual sim capabilities, is that it runs on the Android OS v4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. Even though the chipset is Qualcomm MSM7225AA and CPU is 800 MHz Cortex-A5, the OS manages to save the phone a good position in the market. Similarly, the internal memory of the phone is 2.9 GB, 2.5 GB out of which is available for user; and a 512 MB RAM along with a microSD card slot for external memory. Given that Xperia Tipo Dual is a low budget phone; its connectivity is par excellence in comparison. Not only does it support both 2G and 3G networks; it also comes with GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, WLAN, Bluetooth, and a micro USB port. These features make the Xperia Tipo Dual connected to all forms of technology at all times, working towards a greater image of the phone. On the multimedia side, the phone does not manage to do well on a standard level of low budget phones. It comes with a 3.15 megapixel camera, with geo tagging, and VGA video quality. Since the image result of the camera isn’t too good, it sort of deceives the purpose of a great display screen, bringing the multimedia accessibilities down a notch. The sound quality, however, it pretty okay and the phone supports most sound files. FM Radio and Java are amongst other features which attempt to increase the enjoyment factor of the Xperia Tipo Dual. All in all, it can be said that for its small price range the Sony Xperia Tipo Dual is not a bad phone and come with a fine share of good qualities. It does, however, lack behind in a few things which can’t do unnoticed like the poor camera quality, and the effect that has on the screen’s display quality in return. Even then, the Sony Xperia Tipo Dual is making its place in the market given its dual sim and great OS qualities.
