Google's Linux based mobile operating system "ANDROID" is being very popular day by day. In India Android devices have acquired 90% market. Everyone want Android device because it have best games,apps and many useful feature they want. Google have released many versions of Android. If you look from lower to higher you will see the improvements regarding features,apps and games. Every version of Android have it's own speciality.
Google had announced Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on 24th July 2013 with powerful new smart tablet Google Nexus 7. There are many rumours about the next version of android is Key Lime Pie. Naturally the name of next version is starting with "K". Google have confirmed that it's not Key Lime Pie because many people don't know the taste of it.
Google Senior Vice President of Android and Chrome Mr. Pichai have confirmed after his Asia Android Developers tour that the next version of Android wont have a desert codename. It is a new codename "Android 4.4 Kitkat". They said tha,
"Huge thanks to the entire Android Community from the hardware manufacturers, chip makers and carriers to the developers and content creators to all of you. Over Android users around the world for making this possible.
On my return from Asia, I was also thrilled to find this guy waiting to greet me on the front lawn-Love new Android Kitkat Statue and cant wait to release the next version of the Android platform that is as sweet as the candy bar that's one of our team's favorites."
Sir Pichai have also shared that Android have passed 1 Billion device activations. Google have teased this line for the upcoming Android version.
"Our goal with Android Kitkat to make an amazing android experience available for everybody."
This lines and brand new codename are indicating that this is not a minor update. It is a major update with changes in features,look etc. According to deal with Google, Nestle is doing promotion on Kitkat's packets. Nestle is running a contest credited play store to win Google Nexus 7s. Kitkat is promoting this over 19 countries including India.
Android 4.4 Kitkat Release Date:
Google will launch the next version of Android i.e. Kitkat to the end of octomber or up to 15th November as per my predictions. Some sites have posted that it will launch on 14th Octomber 2013.
Android 4.4 Kitkat Features:
Google have decided to give a surprise to Android Lovers. I am also very excited to know the all features but it's not possible before launching. I am writing some predicted features of Kitkat but not sure about its availability on os.

• Fragmentation Changes (Screen resizing)
• New API's regarding animations
• New Gallery visualisations
• Miracast Updates
Phone running on Android 4.4 Kitkat:
Google will launch Android 4.4 Kitkat with it's new smartphone Google Nexus 5 with latest technology. There are many rumors regarding it's specifications.
