HTC One SV LTE

HTC ONE SV LTE REVIEW

The HTC One SV isn’t the most exciting phone ever to be launched but, with it available on EE’s 4G network, it currently offers among the cheapest ways to get free phone with a 4G contract here in the UK. HTC's latest addition to the Android-powered One range is the One SV, a mid-range 4G handset rocking a dual-core 1.2Ghz processor, a once giant. The 4.3-inch SLCD 2 display is gorgeous to look at and responsive to the touch. While its WVGA resolution isn’t particularly sharp when compared to the 443ppi monsters we’re seeing hit the market, HTC always delivers top notch displays in terms of saturation, colour calibration and viewing angles and a 5-megapixel rear facing camera. Running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, we can’t help but be a little disappointed that HTC is releasing a phone two iterations of Android out of date. 4G/LTE support has largely been the domain of high-end smartphones from companies such as LG, Nokia, Apple and Samsung. However, HTC has taken a bold step in introducing an LTE-enabled smartphone with midrange specifications. One of the best mid-range 4G handsets around - the One SV LTE is a good option if high-speed internet is what you want. However, we'd hold off on buying a 4G device until the other networks make the service available as that's when pricing will get competitive.
