Nokia Feel Disappointed With Progress WP 8

Nokia Feel Disappointed With Progress WP 8 - Nokia is by far the major player for the Windows Phone 8. But it seems they are not quite satisfied with the results that they go to fast during this last.

At an interview with the International Business Times, Vice President of Nokia app development, Bryan Biniak has expressed disappointment with Microsoft's approach in developing the operating system Windows Phone.

Bryan feels that the Windows Phone platform running out of time to make a big impact. This is due to the lack of apps for Windows Phone, and it seems to be a major concern for him.

"If there is an application that someone wanted and it was not there, it means a big loss of sales opportunities," said Bryan Biniak.

So even though, Nokia has a Windows Phone 8 smartphone in the market such as Lumia 1020 and Lumia 920, the fact that it runs slowly and develop eco-system does not help the company. Biniak felt that "without the applications, hardware is useless".

Apple Registering The Surveillance Battery

Apple Registering The Surveillance Battery
Apple Registering The Surveillance Battery
Apple Registering The Surveillance Battery - Apple continues to develop the technology in the iPhone produced. One is the Surveillance Battery technology. Reported by Apple Insider, the technology works by stalking or studying user behavior patterns smartphone during a certain period. Power consumption is adjusted based on the user's habits in a way like turning off the hardware components, reducing the frequency, up to date email, and services that consume the data, close the software, thereby maximizing battery life.

Surveillance Battery of Apple also involves determining the location by means of GPS. Knowing the outcome smartphone anywhere casual users to charge the battery and when the battery is estimated to last up charging locations hereinafter, if not the austerity measures will be carried out.

If iPhone users typically travel from 7 pm to 9 am, then sleep at 11, then the smartphone will notice the pattern with an automated way to cut power consumption at these times. This Surveillance Battery is suitable for you.

Ironically, this technology utilizing the GPS service, which is one factor draining the battery on a modern smartphone. Patent application on the technology in question has been filed by Apple last year. Although it was not clear whether the will actually be implemented in the series what Apple products, may be the next generation iPhone has been able to acquire this technology in the devices. Is going to be pinned to the iPhone version cheap? I do not know, we wait for its development.

Nokia Lumia 625

NOKIA LUMIA 625 REVIEW

Nokia today launched its biggest screened smartphone yet, the Nokia Lumia 625, but this is oddly no flagship device. Instead, the Lumia 625 sits between the budget, compact Lumia 620 and the mid-range Lumia 720. The Nokia Lumia 625 is a large-screen Windows Phone 8 mobile that doesn't cost the earth. It also doesn't leave out all high-end featues. It's Nokia's cheapest 4G-enabled phone, set to sell for around £200 SIM-free when it arrives in September. Nokia Lumia 625 is coming to market with a 4.7 inch 480 x 800 resolution screen (WVGA) with a 201ppi pixel density. The glass is enhanced for better viewing under the sun. A dual-core 1.2GHz processor drives the handset. 512MB of RAM is onboard and there is 8GB of native storage which can be expanded by as much as 64GB using the microSD slot. The rear-facing 5MP snapper can capture video in 1080p @ 30fps while there is a VGA front-facing camera. A 2000mAh battery keeps the lights on. There are, however, some concessions to cost-cutting, and the most noticeable of these is the IPS display, whose 480 x 800 resolution delivers a pixel density of only 201ppi, and a noticeably grainy quality of  image. The 5-megapixel camera’s no great shakes either, and there’s a rather pedestrian dual-core, 1.2GHz processor under the hood and 512MB of RAM. In SunSpider, the Lumia 625 achieved an average time of 1,129ms, which puts it ahead of its budget stablemates, but behind the super-quick Lumia 925. Also, there’s no wireless-charging facility nor any sign of NFC. Still, with Windows Phone 8 at the helm, the Lumia 625 feels responsive and fluid under the touch, and we do like the fact that Nokia has seen fit to include a Gorilla Glass 2 topping to the screen and nicely curved edges, plus super-sensitive touch, allowing the Lumia 625 to be operated with gloves on. The presence of 4G means there’s a degree of future proofing, too, allowing users to move to faster network speeds as and when they become available. And, this being a Nokia device, there’s a host of extras pre-loaded, including the Smart Camera from the Lumia 925 with all its burst-mode cleverness, Nokia Music for free music streaming, and the Here Drive, Here Maps and Here Transit apps for getting from A to B more efficiently. We think Nokia is onto yet another budget winner with the Lumia 625. There’s no particular wow factor to it, but its combination of a large screen, pleasant design, expandable memory and low cost looks highly appealing. If the battery life is as good as the rest of the package, it could well supplant the Lumia 520 as our favourite low-cost smartphone.
