Here’s one category where Android is still no match for Apple Inc. (AAPL): mobile shopping.
On Christmas day, Apple’s iOS devices were used to make 23 percent of all e-commerce orders, according to a report yesterday from International Business Machines Corp. Phones and tablets running Google Inc. (GOOG)’s Android, meanwhile, only accounted for 4.6 percent. IOS customers also spent $93.94 per order, almost twice the amount of the average Android shopper.
Mobile devices in general have emerged as a more common way to buy things online, gaining ground on personal computers. They were used for almost 29 percent of Internet sales, up 40 percent from 2012, IBM found. Smartphones were more popular for browsing, while consumers spent more money when using tablets.
Apple’s iPhone and iPad have maintained their edge as shopping tools, even as Android products sell in far greater numbers. Android, which is used by Samsung Electronics Co. and other top manufacturers, accounted for 81 percent of smartphone shipments last quarter, according to IDC. Apple had 13 percent of the market.
Pinterest Inc. and Facebook Inc. also helped drive online shopping on Christmas, IBM found. Customers referred to sales through Pinterest, an Internet-scrapbooking startup, spent almost $87 per order, while those referred through Facebook spent $72. Still, customers that came from Facebook were four times more likely to make a purchase than the Pinterest users, possibly because they trust their Facebook friends more, according to the report.

Apple iPad mini Wi-Fi
APPLE IPAD MINI WI-FI REVIEW
In the summer and fall of 2012, the rumor vortex spinning around the launch of Apple's compact iPad was so charged that it seemed to give birth to the device itself. (Rumorville nailed the tablet's ultimate name iPad Mini well in advance.) All the conjecture, so much of it correct, stole much of the Mini's thunder at Apple's announcement of the device in October 2012. Indeed, the fact of its release wasn't nearly as surprising as two of the key details about it: the screen specs, and the price. Like a middle child, though, the Mini has to work out its role in the family. Light and portable like the Touch, but larger-faced like the iPad, the Mini delivers some of the best of both worlds. But its resolution—a critical spec for any tablet—of 1,024x768 is far below those of the 2012 iPads’ Retina displays, at 2,048x1,536. (Even the latest iPod Touch packs in 1,136x640 resolution at 326ppi.) As we mentioned earlier, the best of the iPad Mini’s direct 7-inch Android competitors have higher resolutions, too. The late Steve Jobs famously dismissed a 7-inch display as too small for a tablet, and perhaps the mini’s 7.9-inch display was inspired by Apple’s late leader. At nearly 8 inches diagonally, the display is a bit more than a third-again larger than the screens in its 7-inch competitors. And considering the overall size of the iPad Mini, the front is almost all screen. Plus, for those who find Apple's full-size iPads too big to carry or hold for long periods, the Mini is a welcome relief. You can easily hold it in one hand at 5.3 inches by 7.9 inches (wide by high). And at just 0.28 inch thick, it feels like you're holding a small pane of glass, rather than a full-fledged tablet. We’ve already discussed the iPad Mini’s display at length, but a few more details are worth mentioning. (It is, after all, the Mini’s primary feature.) The bezel is quite narrow on the left and right, and your thumb will no doubt rest on the display. Apple accounted for this by enabling the display to distinguish between a thumb tap and a thumb resting along the screen edge. We found this worked rather well, although tapping to close browser windows and other actions near the bezel occasionally required some persistence. This isn’t a deal-breaker, though—just a new nuance in adapting to touch technology. The display is very sharp and vivid, even in side-by-side comparisons of HD video playback on the iPad Mini against an iPad with the Retina display. But we did note, while comparing some search results from Google Images, that the iPad Mini’s hue balance was skewed a little toward magenta (red), while the display of the third-gen iPad was a bit cooler, toward cyan (blue). Neither iPad has controls for color balance, and both images looked true-to-life, but the difference suggests room for improvement. Apple claims a fingerprint-resistant “oleophobic coating” covers the display, but our impression from our testing was that the iPad Mini was ever-so-slightly more smudge-prone than the iPad 2 or 3. (The narrower bezels may mean there's less non-screen area on which to plant your grubby thumbs.) Also, we sensed that the iPad Mini’s display cast a bit more glare than the full-size iPads in our anecdotal side-by-side testing, but the difference was very difficult to pin down. The iPad Mini has a rear-facing 5-megapixel camera, which can record video in 1080p high definition. This is in addition to the standard front-facing, 1.2-megapixel camera, which can record video in 720p. Given the highly portable size of the iPad Mini, the rear-facing camera is a logical and valuable feature. It’s surprising that the Mini’s main competitors lack one, particularly the Nexus 7. Most folks would feel much less silly using a Mini to shoot video versus holding up a full-size iPad. When it comes to apps, the iPad Mini gives you a relatively inexpensive way to access the 275,000 iOS apps designed for the full-size iPads. The screen resolution may be lower than the latest iPads', but it was selected to accommodate apps in the same way the original iPad and the iPad 2 still work with the massive library of iOS apps. Also worth noting: The iPad Mini can run Apple's Siri voice-command assistant, something the iPad 2 can’t. Across the two years of its life, the iPad family has been criticized for not running Flash videos, but it should be noted that Android has followed that trend in its newest version, 4.1 (nicknamed “Jelly Bean”). While the Amazon Kindle Fire HD and B&N Nook HD can run Flash (since they have the older Android 4.0 “Ice Cream Sandwich” version of the OS), the Nexus 7 runs Jelly Bean sans Flash. So this is no longer the big demerit it once was for iPads as a whole. Matching the iPad 2, the iPad Mini is powered by Apple’s 1GHz dual-core A5 processor and features a 1,024x768 display. As you might guess, our SunSpider, GUImark, GLBenchmark, and Geekbench benchmark tests showed the iPad Mini’s performance generally mirrored the iPad 2's. Both were a notch below the current (fourth-gen) iPad, which runs on a dual-core A6X processor and quad-core graphics. That said, we noticed no significant difference between the iPad Mini and the third-generation iPad 3 in side-by-side Web-surfing tests, playing HD videos, and general Googling around. You won’t have time to go get a sandwich during downloads or browser bashing, either—there’s plenty of power packed into the iPad Mini for general Web tasks, and the 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity was indeed notably robust. Our sister site, PCMag.com, ran a panoply of Wi-Fi-throughput and app-load tests on the iPad Mini, as well as on two of its closest 7-inch competitors (the Amazon Kindle Fire HD and the Google Nexus 7). They saw the iPad Mini come out on top in all cases, recording especially fast downrange speeds (as measured by SpeedTest.net), and mildly faster Web-site load times (with a custom selection of sites). Apple estimates up to 10 hours of battery life performing a mix of Web surfing via Wi-Fi, video playback, and listening to music, or up to 9 hours using a cellular connection. (Our test-model iPad Mini did not have cellular capability, only Wi-Fi.) Our tests generally confirmed these numbers. We saw just shy of 8 hours with video playback at full screen brightness; at half brightness, we achieved almost 13 hours, which shows what a difference your brightness settings make! This also competes well with the 7-inch-slate competition, though the Nexus 7 outlasted the iPad Mini by about 2.5 hours at full brightness. If you’re just looking for a 7in tablet, with no preference to OS or ecosystem, it will be hard to ignore the value proposition of the Nexus 7. But if you’ve already bought into the Apple ecosystem and want a light and slim tablet to extend that ecosystem, the iPad mini is exactly what you need.

Apple iPad 4 Wi-Fi
APPLE IPAD 4 WI-FI REVIEW
Now in its fourth iteration in two years, the Apple iPad continues its reign as the slate king. The best large tablet you can buy today, the fourth Apple iPad has it all: Top performance, a stellar screen, an improved and surprisingly good camera, speedy Wi-Fi, and a breath-taking library of apps. It really is the full package. The fourth-generation iPad looks almost exactly like the previous model, and it's priced the same, too. The Wi-Fi model we reviewed comes with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB worth of storage. If you want to be able to keep apps, movies, and music on your tablet, I advise getting at least 32GB. There are also cellular versions of the new Apple iPad 4 Wi-Fi, (and yes, EE’s new 4G LTE service is supported by the iPad 4). Just like the second and third-generation iPads, this tablet has a 9.7in screen surrounded by a black (or white) bezel, with a curved metal back, and a single Home button. Apple's magnetic Smart Cover, which was released with the iPad 2, clips on just fine. The tablet still has a sealed-in battery, and no ports other than a standard headphone jack. There's a 1.2-megapixel camera right above the display in the middle of the top bezel, and a 5-megapixel camera in its traditional location on the back upper left corner. On the bottom is Apple's new and compact Lightning connector, which isn't compatible with earlier accessories but Lightning accessories are starting to appear, and I'm confident the ecosystem will develop quickly given how many new iPhones, iPods and iPads Apple is selling. Measuring 185 x 9.4 x 241mm (WxDxH), and weighing 652 grams, the new iPad is the same size and weight as the third-generation model. It's about 50 grams heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and Google Nexus 10, but I didn't really notice that during testing. The 2,048 x 1,536 Retina resolution display is sharp, clear, and bright. At 263 pixels per inch, it beats every other tablet on the market right now except Google's Nexus 10, which offers a 300ppi, 2,560 x 1,600 10in screen. But both web browsing and gaming look better on the iPad's screen because of superior software choices. In the browser, Apple picked better-looking, better-kerned fonts, and cross-platform games showed generally superior graphics and coding on the iPad. The Retina display takes its toll on battery life just as it did with the third-gen iPad. I got 5 hours and 36 minutes of video playback at full brightness, almost the same figure as the previous model. That's still longer than the Nexus 10, which clocked in at just over 5 hours on the same test. The big battery still takes a long time to charge: Six hours on our first try, even with the new, more powerful 12 Watt charger. The new iPad, like the old iPad, runs Apple's iOS 6. See our full review of iOS 6 for a look at the ins and outs of the iPad's operating system. In the eight months since the fourth-generation iPad was released, most of the apps I have been using for testing have been upgraded to Retina versions. The OS smooths and improves standard elements within many non-Retina-enhanced apps, too, including text and embedded maps. Speaking of those maps, Apple's troubles with mapping don't affect this iPad as much as other iOS devices because the Wi-Fi-only model lacks GPS. Still, if it can find Wi-Fi the tablet can determine its location, and you can of course download a third-party mapping app if you like. The latest iPad packs an Apple A6X processor which Geekbench reports to be running at 1.4GHz (Apple won't confirm or deny this). The custom-designed A6, was already one of the fastest CPUs available; the A6X enhances the A6 with even better graphics. The results are stunning. The fourth-gen iPad outmatched all other Apple products on the Geekbench and GLBenchmark benchmarks, scoring 1,768 on Geekbench compared to the iPad 3's 749. Similarly, the heavy-duty game Need for Speed: Most Wanted launched in 18 seconds on the new iPad compared to 37 seconds on the iPad 3. Yes, it's more than twice as fast. With the iPad 3, I found apps that stressed the older A5 processor. That just isn't the case with the new iPad. Apple's efficient software comes into play when comparing the iPad 4 against Google’s Nexus 10 too. While the Nexus 10 notched a faster Geekbench score at 2,480, the iPad creamed it on all of our actual web-browsing tests – Sunspider, Browsermark, and GUIMark, as well as when it came to timing the speed pages loaded at. I saw delays and stutters in the Nexus 10's interface that I never saw on the iPad. Updating a large number of apps went more slowly on the Nexus than on the iPad. And under heavy strain, the iPad got a bit warm, but the Nexus 10 became even hotter. When it comes to downloading, the iPad's excellent Wi-Fi performance certainly helps. Using our office's 5GHz 802.11n network, I got 37Mbps down on the iPad and 23Mbps down on the Nexus 10. Both speeds are fast, but it's the iPad's processor and software that seem to be making the difference here. Gaming performance is significantly better on the new iPad, too. Intense games like Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Asphalt 7 run at a smooth 60 frames per second on the new iPad, and render landscapes in advance of viewing. Which was distracting. Scores on the GLBenchmark graphics benchmark spell things out. On GLBenchmark's Egypt HD On-Screen, which renders a complex game-like scene, the iPad 3 scored 22 frames per second, the Nexus 10 hit 27, and the iPad 4 reached 42. That's a noticeable difference. The new iPad upgrades both cameras. The 1.2-megapixel front camera records 720p video; the rear camera takes 5-megapixel stills and 1080p video. The front camera takes sharp 1.2-megapixel shots, even in low light. In very low light, images get quite noisy, but that's preferable to blurry. Its 720p HD videos record at a noisy 24 frames per second in very low light, and 30 frames per second outdoors. The main camera captures sharp, clear, and well-balanced 5-megapixel images and 1080p video at 30 frames per second indoors and out. I think people look ridiculous taking photos with the main camera of a 10in tablet, but many people do so. The single speaker on the bottom of the iPad is tinny and of medium volume like most tablet speakers, but the headphone amp is impressive; I got rich, powerful sound through a pair of Monster earphones. The iPad also works just fine with Bluetooth headphones and speakers. The iPad has always been an excellent media player, and there's no change here. The high resolution screen lets you watch 1080p HD videos without downscaling, and they look spectacular. You can also output HD video to a TV either through Apple's HDMI adapter, or via Wi-Fi using Apple TV's AirPlay feature. The combination of the new processor and faster Wi-Fi fix the AirPlay problems I saw on the previous iPad, too. Using a 5GHz network, I streamed a 1080p version of The Hunger Games purchased from iTunes on an Apple TV, and watched a high quality stream of Arrested Development on Netflix with no skipping. High quality racing games ran with good frame rates over AirPlay, but there was a bit of lag in the controls because of Wi-Fi latency. Apple’s new iPad is quite simply the best 10in tablet out there. The iPad’s performance is head and shoulders above the competition, and it provides a premium screen and processor to match its premium price. The iPad's expansive library of tablet-focused apps is also a big tick for the Apple tablet. The Apple iPad 4 Wi-Fi adds raw speed to this equation, allowing apps more power to pump out graphics on par with that beautiful display. This emphasis on speed is carried over to Wi-Fi, where Apple has added the ability for channel bonding, which can take advantage of features found in dual-band routers to establish two connections in order to provide more bandwidth. The The Apple iPad 4 Wi-Fi also improves the front-facing "FaceTime" camera, moving away from the VGA-quality camera into 720p territory. And good news for international customers: the iPad 4 has increased support for 4G LTE networks around the world.

Apple iPad 4 Wi-Fi + Cellular
APPLE IPAD 4 WI-FI + CELLULAR REVIEW
The fast iPad just got even better as we have new iPad from Apple now. Apple has introduced the 4th-generation iPad 4 just seven months after the predecessor, a move that disregards the expected turn. New iPad 4 Wi-Fi + Cellular looks nearly identical to the predecessor that it is completely taking over the series – it has now Lightning Connector that took the entry with iPhone 5, and it is a lot faster. The 9.7 inches screen looks just as stunning and bright as ever – well, because it is the same screen. Apple deeply values to promote the display techs since having top rated screens is one of the vital benefits of all of Apple’s trademarks starting from iPod to Retina MacBook. Therefore a similar screen to iPad 3 is something that you can say will succeed in the new iPad. The visibility from different angles has been enhanced with IPS technology and 2048×1536 resolution at 264 pixels per inch. Another upgrade can be seen with a dual-core A6X chip with quad core graphics – it will double the performance and graphics power of A5X chip installed in 3rd-generation iPad, the Apple claimed. While it was being tested, we have noticed that apps opened seamlessly and switching between them with four-finger individual-strokes at once looked even more prompt and quicker than already fast running iPad 3. Both, front and back cameras on iPad 4 have been kept same as predecessor, but in the presence of A6X chip, the image processing has improved adding support for image balance and facial recognition. We were unable to test its camera lined up against 3rd-generation iPad’s but the facial recognition worked as expected on an iPad 4 automatically finding faces as we made our shots in an order and keep them in center. Apple also rolled out with wireless connectivity upgrade, although it looks slight but should make a noticeable difference. All iPads are equipped with dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi, with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz for better resistance from other accesses without losing any bandwidth. And then, the new iPad 4 can use both channels simultaneously. You can get abstract speed of up to 150 Mbps which is faster than most Wi-Fi networks you would have come across. Apple first rolled it out with iPhone 5 where we noticed effortless page loads and no-buffering videos however we are waiting for the exact speed to test. Apple iPad 4 WiFi and Cellular is a Tablet phone weighing 652g. It′s dimensions are 241.2MM x 185.7MM x 9.40MM . The talk-time of the phone is Up to 9 hours. The phone operates at frequencies of GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 / HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 / LTE 700 MHz Class 17 / 1700 / 2100 MHz. The Phone has a Display of 9.7 inches, LED-backlit IPS TFT, Capacitive Touchscreen, 16M Colors. This model comes with Camera of , Rear : 5.0 MP Camera (2592x1944 Pixels) with Auto Focus, Front : 1.2 MP Camera (1280x1024 Pixels), 720p@30fps, Face Detection, FaceTime over Wi-Fi with , Digital Zoom. The tablet is equipped with a 5 megapixel iSight primary camera, which comes with features like tap to control exposure, tap to focus, autofocus, face detection and geo-tagging. The primary camera is also capable of recording 1080p resolution videos and has video stabilisation feature. It also boasts a 1.2 megapixel FaceTime HD front camera for video calling. This Apple iPad can play a number of audio-video formats like MP4, M4V, MOV, MP3, AAC and WAV. Internet browsing along with downloading is quite impressive at a speed up to 150 Mbps, which is facilitated by dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) Wi-Fi. This tablet also supports EDGE, 3G and 4G over GSM network for easy Internet connectivity. Bluetooth 4.0 enables users to use Bluetooth handsets and speakers with this tablet. The Apple iPad with Retina Display is powered by 42.5 watt-hour Lithium-polymer battery, which lasts up to 10 hours on Wi-Fi and up to 9 hours on cellular network. This iPad boasts of an internal storage capacity of 128 GB. While the Apple iPad 4 Wi-Fi + Cellular may still be one of the most expensive tablets, the fact is that you're paying for its quality. Its excellent screen, fast processor, wide range of apps and brilliant quality is what you're paying for and the reason why the iPad 4 Wi-Fi + Cellular is still the best tablet. It wins our Ultimate award.

Apple iPad 3 Wi-Fi
APPLE IPAD 3 WI-FI REVIEW
Apple iPad third generation has just hit the market with an impressive 9.7" Retina display which is the most stunning display that we have seen on a tablet. Though the new iPad looks the same as that of old but to be frank, it brings a massive upgrade. The new screen is simply outstanding and it is hard to exaggerate the importance of the new screen. Apple has loaded down four times as many pixels into the same space and the enhancement has to be checked to be understood. The display is surprisingly sharp. Text and photos look simply stunning. Tim Cook (CEO of Apple Inc.) is doing very well to stance against the severe competition in the mobile world. The company has launched two tablets, Apple iPad 3 Wi-Fi + 4G and Apple iPad 3 Wi-Fi, both have impressive and more appealing features than previous models. The iPad 3 Wi-Fi tablet has recently been unleashed with no support of GSM network communication. Wi-Fi connectivity alone cannot provide immense pleasure of high-speed communication because there is no support of 2G or 3G network coverage in this tablet. Read between the lines in following paragraphs to reveal other aspects of this tablet. Apple, an American multinational corporation, is considered as one of the best companies for producing high quality and reliable electronic products. The firm is gaining maximum advantage of ever evolving and rapidly progressing technology by producing some highly accomplished devices that are appreciated by all and sundry across each corner of the globe. Out of its so many streams of supreme quality iPads, the most recently launched gadget is Apple iPad3 Wi-Fi. Measuring 241.2 x 185.7 x 9.4 mm in length, width and thickness, respectively, the dimensions are exactly what the modern smart users do desire for. Particularly, the thickness of just 9.4 millimeter makes your new iPad 3 look extremely slim and stylish, while the considerably extended length and width are meant to provide you with a desirably large display size. The capacitive LED-backlit touchscreen of the postmodern gadget is featured with the latest technologies of in-plane switching (IPS) and thin-film transistor (TFT), so that you can enjoy an innovative and pleasant experience of video watching. In addition to it, the scratch-resistant glass and oleophobic coating render the TFT screen strength, extra protection and superb clarity. The brain of your favorite iPad consists of an extremely powerful and highly efficient Dual-Core Cortex-A9 processor that gives you the fleeting speed of 1 GHz with utmost accuracy. So, you need not be waiting even for a few seconds as many heavy applications get started within the spur of a moment. The most secure, efficient and convenient way of storing your important private data is that of online storage because it can not only be accessed anywhere on the globe, but also remains out of the reach of criminals. On the other hand, your handset or any other data storage device can either be lost/stolen or misused by your acquaintances. Under such critical circumstances, the iCloud service of this new technological marvel comes to your rescue by providing 5GB online storage which is more than just sufficient for an ordinary user to accommodate miscellaneous data files. Along with other great apps, you will also find the integration of great social media apps, such as Facebook and Twitter which will keep you connected with the entire world around you for the exchange and sharing of wishes, comments, thoughts and information. Those who have decided to buy Apple iPad 3 must think of themselves as very lucky people in the world because this all-in-one gadget keeps you enjoying with high quality audio/video players that can play a number of popular audio and video formats. But, at the same time, you must realize the fact that for all these enhancements, the company demands high Apple iPad 3 price and that seems to be a fair deal. Limited Connectivity: No doubt, the smart device is furnished with a number of outstanding features and is sleekly manufactured, but the biggest flaw in it is the lack of support for a many appealing connectivity options, such as GSM, GPRS and EDGE. Old Operating System: Many latest versions of the operating system are at the very disposal of Apple, but an old and outdated version of operating system, iOS 5.1, installed in the gadget will downgrade the value of this, otherwise, extraordinary device. As a usual practice, the smartphones are accomplished with many bulky apps that, while in operation, quickly extract all of the energy of the device’s short-life battery, bringing an abrupt and unwanted pause in your entertainment. Now, it is the time to get rid of such embarrassing issues as the Li-Po 11, 560 mAh battery of this device can give you the standby time of up to 720 hours which can be converted into the talk-time of at least 10 hours. No doubt, the latest release by Apple contains some disappointing flaws but, if you uncover the device, you will meet with magnanimous functions that were not accounted for in iPads ever before. Anyhow, owing to high Apple iPad 3 many interested individuals will not be able to access it. Although this tablet does not support GSM voice communication unlike the other Smart devices, but it is still capable of being a preferred choice for executive people who are always in need of performing official tasks every time.

Apple iPhone 4S
APPLE IPHONE 4S REVIEW
The Apple iPhones are elite, classy and world famous. They are popular for their marvelous design and appealing looks. You cannot resist praising them in both looks and features present in them. This new Apple iPhone 4S is now an officially announced handset and it is now entitled as the “Apple iPhone 4S”. It is expected to be released on October 14th, this year. There’s another belief that iPhone 5 will not be released and iPhone 4S is the replacement of the most popular and the most rumored Apple iPhone 5. This iPhone 4S is extremely sleek and has 140g of weight. The 4S is a budget phone which means that it is affordable and lower in price than other iPhones with similar specifications. It has the same design as the iPhone 4 but there is a boost in the processor. The handset is available in two colors which are black and white. The Multi-Touch input method is the focus point of this phone. Now that I've over-emphasized the resemblance of the Apple iPhone 4S to the iPhone 4, it's time to take a look at what really matters... the actual performance. This is what separates the two devices. The new model is armed with an A5 chip (the same one found in the iPad 2), and boasts faster overall performance than its predecessor. Apple claims that it's twice the speed and 7X the graphics performance. 've spent almost a week with the iPhone 4S and there is no real obvious difference in how the basic functions in the operating system works from the iPhone 4. They are actually both equally smooth when you navigate through iOS 5, use the phone, send and receive emails, and send text messages. However, if you are reading this review, it's more likely you will be doing a lot more than what's listed above. The basic phone functions have pretty much remained the same as all the other versions of the iPhone. It's very basic, straightforward, and easy to use. The negative side to that is that it's missing some features that are found on just about every other smartphone such as Smart Dialing, which I loved on the HTC Android phones I've used in the past. If you're a huge fan of widgets, you'll be disappointed that the iPhone 4S and iOS 5 are still lacking in that department, although there is a sort of stock ticker widget on the Notifications Menu. I just wish they had something similar to the Jailbreak app called SBS Settings where you can immediately access a menu to turn off and on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. With the "improved" antenna and using the phone all day without a case, I've had no dropped calls thanks to the new configuration, and calls came out as clear as they can be on the AT&T network. There's also an improvement on data speeds since the iPhone 4S now supports HSDPA+, and quite a few people have reported online that they are able to get 8MB+ in download speeds. I'm based in the Los Angeles Metro area and I've been getting about 4MB-6MB on average on the iPhone 4S vs getting about 2MB-3.5MB on the iPhone 4. iOS 5 is Apple's new mobile operating system which launched officially a few days before the release of the iPhone 4S. Although not the greatest of leaps from iOS 4.3, there are definitely a lot of enhancements that are appreciated. There are 200 new features listed on iOS 5, but we are going to take a look at the biggest and obvious additions. The internal memory varies in different variants between 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. While on the other hand, the external memory is bounded in the limit by disabling the microSD slot in this gadget. When it comes down to the variety of mobile applications and games, the iOS platform is still the one to beat -- there are over 500,000 apps to choose from, If you are a fan of video games, you should be happy to know that Konami, Square Enix, Capcom, and Electronic Arts are among Apple's third-party lineup. And for the most part, Apps usually come out on iOS before they reach Android and Blackberry, such as Angry Birds and Spotify. The App Store itself is well organized and the issue of fragmentation is nearly nonexistent since only Apple makes the iPhone. And of course, there's the built-in Music and Movie Player with AirPlay support, so if you have an Apple TV or AirPlay capable device, you can stream your audio and video collection to it. There's also a variety of Apps that support AirPlay as well. My favorites are Crunchyroll and Stream to Me which I use to stream my movies and anime onto my TV. If you don't have an Apple TV, you can buy an HDMI adapter and connect it directly to your TV as well. If you're a point-and-shoot photographer/blogger, then you'll be happy with the 8MP camera on the iPhone 4S. The iPhone 4 itself already took great pictures and video, and I've been using it daily to post photos on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc... It has completely replaced my point-and-shoot camera which has been collecting dust over the past year. Now comes the new camera on the 4S with higher megapixels, a CMOS sensor that improves photography in low-light situations, and faster camera performance thanks to the A5 processor. Photos are noticeably sharper and clearer and pictures at night come out a lot better. You can also now record video in 1080p at 30fps, which is a nice jump from 720p on the iPhone 4. Video recording is jaw dropping. This is where the iPhone 4S falls short. The battery actually drains quicker than the iPhone 4, which had excellent battery life. In doing some intensive battery testing between the two devices, the iPhone 4 outlasts the 4S more than 2X longer. I spent a day with each phone doing similar tasks: texting, web surfing, scheduled talk times, etc. In fact, I had a much busier day when I was testing the iPhone 4 where I took it off the charger at 8:12AM with 100% battery life, and then didn't even plug it in overnight. The next day, about 24 hours later, it still had 16% battery life left! On the iPhone 4S, I took it off the charger at 8:31AM at 100%, but at 8:45 pm that night, it was already down to 1% left!!! Overall, the phone is wonderful as it is an Apple’s device and Apple has a good repute in market for its best advanced features and applications.

Apple iPad 2 CDMA
APPLE IPAD 2 CDMA REVIEW
While moving on further, Apple has made a longer refresh iPad, a compact and well-groomed device for quality entertainment seekers. The new model, iPad 2 CDMA is covered with a thin body and a soft touch screen of big size that performs faster than the previous models. Everything is carefully embedded with the use of smart technology. Following paragraphs will open out its lovely features with pros and cons. Its lighter and easy to handle and carry anywhere. The thin body is assembled with 9.7 inches LED-backlit IPS TFT, capacitive touch screen of a resolution of 768×1024 pixels. It is flatter and do not wobble when you place it on a table like the previous model of iPad. But, there is a technical hitch to mention here. The iPad 2 CDMA is not supported with any kickstand, therefore, it cannot stand on a table without the help of any other object but you are provided with a smart cover that overcomes this downside. The body, although, is protected through a scratch-resistant glass that is made up of an oleophobic coating. Moreover, on its face, you can able to touch a home key, power option, screen lock key and a microphone at the top. At the bottom side, there is a slot for a connector and a loudspeaker. It is also equipped with back and front camera. The iPad 2 CDMA is an iOS 4 operating system that is upgraded with iOS 5.1 operating system and many advance applications, that can be run with its Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor. For producing the vivid graphical effects, Apple has not changed its trend to place a PowerVR SGX543MP2 graphical processing unit. The size is a bit wider and you may face troubles while typing and operating other functions on it unless you place this tablet in your lap or on a table. The camera is not embedded with quality features. It is only 0.7MP to fulfill basic needs of capturing our life moments. You cannot enhance the storage capacity because there is no memory card slot. It also lacks a Radio, Java, stereo loudspeakers, a standard USB port and replaceable battery. But finally, it can be a perfect choice with its elegant design and smart looking features that somewhat overcomes the above-mentioned negative points. So many people out there would buy anything that has an Apple label over it. Then there are people who are totally freaked out by its name, calling apple mania obnoxious and all silly. However, considering the feature facts about Apple devices, the level of customer satisfaction and the quality of the products and for many more reasons, Apple really is a trendsetter. With the Apple iPad 2 Wi-Fi already in stores, the Apple iPad 2 CDMA is something that is really going to make things rock and rolling for Apple bankers. Compared to the legendary iPad, it is undeniably more powerful, more performing, a little more slimmer than expected and a lot more featured than one could think of in a single machine. Coming to the design, Apple has done a big favor on its iPad fans by shedding a lot of weight from it compared to the earlier model. Making it thinner is also a good move. In addition to this, the smooth and rounded edges makes this device a lot more ergonomically user friendly. If you have used iPad before this, then you already know how much you wanted the Apple iPad 2 CDMA to lose some weight. Whether you are watching a movie, reading a book on your iPad 2 or video chatting with someone, you are about to have a wondrous time with it. The features of the Apple iPad 2 CDMA are a mixture of two extremes. There are a lot of good features and several downsides of it. However, the bag of goodies is much heavier. Considering the fact that not only does it support multitasking but also comes with an apps store integration, giving you access to thousands of application just made for your device, clearly marks it as a must own property. All the applications run smooth and impressive, thanks to its high-speed RAM and a beefy graphics emulator. The battery lasts for hours, even after you are done with loads of your daily work. However, being from Apple, it was expected to be at least very close to perfect. The Apple iPad 2 CDMA lacks HDMI and USB ports and slot for memory card. The camera on this machine is also limited to 0.7MP and limited storage space. Another fact about this machine that you need to consider is before you buy it is that it does not support flash applet. So, if you love to browse the internet a lot, this is one serious drawback that cannot be overlooked while there are many other tablets that come standard with these features. Still, one thing that you need to realize is that it’s a tablet PC and not a laptop. So, a few drawbacks are not drawbacks, they are features that a tablets may or may not have. In addition, you can use adapters for more connectivity if want them so much. The other features of this device are undeniably luring. The design and features are 9 out of 10, the video output is amazing and the battery is impressive as well. If you are considering buying a tablet PC, just make sure you have Apple iPad 2 CDMA in your must checkout list. The tablet is a handsome device that looks so much startling to give you the extra benefits for smooth performance due to the integration of some advanced technologies. In spite of some shortcomings in several sides, the customers will be tempted to test it for once.
