Micromax has taken everybody by surprise by unveiling LapTab at the ongoing International Consumers Electronic Show (CES) in Lag Vegas.
Canvas LapTab dual boots both Windows 8.1 and Android Jellybean 4.2.2 and can seamlessly switch between them.
Micromax Co-founder Rahul Sharma said
The tablet has Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, USB 3.0 and Micro-HDMI out connectivity options.
Talking about the dimensions the device is under 10mm thick and weight about 650 gms. LapTab comes with an optional Snap-on keyboard cover called 'Transleeve' by Micromax which can also act as stand for tablet.

Over the past few years, we have been witnessing a growing trend of increasing consumer demand for two operating systems in one device, which offers a blend of great PC like productivity in a tablet like form factor for seamless consumption.
We would be unveiling an array of innovative products across international markets in next six months for which Micromax is known for.The device features a 10.1 inch display with resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and is powered by 1.46GHz Intel Celeron processor. There is 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 64 GB via Micro-sd. Also present is a 2 MP front camera, wireless keyboard and 7400 mAh battery.
