True OCTA-CORE mobile chip launched by Mediatek

Mediatek octa core chip

Mediatek has officially announced Octa-Core MT6592 chip in which all the eight cores can work simultaneously and each core is capable to clock speeds upto 2GHz.
The eight core chip delivers smooth gaming performance, enhanced web browsing and advanced multi-tasking for high-end smartphones and tablets due to its greater computational capabilities.

The processor supports up to 16-megapixel cameras and the full-HD video spec H.265. Ultra-HD support on the H.264 spec is also supported.

The chip is of-course more powerful than the previous Mediatek chips but also promises longer battery life. An advanced MediaTek scheduling algorithm monitors the  temperature and the power consumption to ensure optimum performance at all times.
Mobile devices sporting this chip will start appearing by the end of this year.
