Have you ever wonder which is the best app to use for social network. We all know that whats app has been the most popular app for quite a while as a replacement for text messages. But with LINE, we have something new. 

Whatever that Whatsapp is capable of, LINE is also capable of but LINE comes with a few extras...

Here are some of the cool features that I find with LINE.

If you are like many, you will find this extremely amazing...expressive stickers and emoticons...such emoticons and cute graphics have been one of the key features on LINE....as it makes communication becomes more than just words...sometimes, images speak a thousand words...I guess this is where LINE wins over Whatsapp....

Of course, this could also be the flaw of the app....imagine if someone kept sending emoticons and stickers to you on LINE....one could easily find it to be frustrating and annoying...

We all know that Group messages are important and LINE is making sure to include this key feature as well.

Group Messaging with your Favourite Friends or selected people would make communication in a group as well as group outing be organized easily. 

There are other ways for you to add friends such as using the Shake It feature or the QR codes...this is really where Whatsapp is missing...but I find the feature to be hardly useful...but still fun to have once in a while...

Wallpaper could also be easily customized...I'm sure this feature suits the females more than the guys...it's definitely not the killer feature but it's good to have it once you are bored with the usual background.

For me, I personally find one more feature in LINE that beats out the rest...the availability on the PC. 

One could easily access into LINE via the PC or even the tablet....For tablet, one would have to use the browser version at the moment. This is totally in line with what iMessage idea....so basically, LINE is integrating both the goods in iMessage, WhatsApp and the cute emoticons we once saw in WindowsLive Messenger...

Therefore, LINE is really an app that beats out most of its' competitors...very innovative and user friendly at the same time...a big thumbs up for the developers....

Tablet PC with SIM card facility: As there are more interest to SIM card facility available tablet we have decided to made entry about list of newly launched tablet with SIM card facility. Check this post it will be updated every time when a SIM card facility tablet get released.

In India SIM card tablets were preferred much. The reason of SIM card tablet preference is there is no adequate Wi-Fi in India. Only regions such as Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad have many Wi-Fi hotspot. I am from Madurai, Tamilnadu and I don't get Wi-Fi hotspot connection everywhere. So far I accessed Wi-Fi at Anna Nagar. All this tablet doesn't have 3G facility in it. Please check the specification just by clicking on the tablet. All SIM card slot enabled tablet have SMS and Calling facility. SIM card tablets means that you can insert SIM like the way you do in mobile phone. But 3G facility must be specified by the Tablet PC manufacturers. Some SIM card enabled tablets like Reliance can use only Reliance SIM. So I recommend you to cross check with the official site. This processor is one of the innovation made through "Kai Project". This projects concentrate on powerful processor with low cost. This tablet comes under the revolution of Google I/O. This tablet is tied up with Asus instead of Samsung.

Google Nexus Tablet Specification: As per the announcement this is the first tablet running Android Jelly Belly V4.1. This is just the slight update of ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich). It supports Near Field Communication, Google Wallet and Android Beam.

Asus Google Nexus Tablet display made of Capacitive touchscreen and got multitouch facility. Screen size when measured diagonally will be 7inches. We hope black will be only color of the tablet panel.

Asus Nexus tablet PC is made of Nividia Tegra 3 quad core processor processor clocked at 1.3Ghz which makes this tablet PC cheaper. It will available in 8GB (Rs.12,000) and 16GB (Rs:15,000). RAM present in this tablet is 1GB. They can't afford much RAM at this cost.

According to the Kai Project the processor will consume only less power. So we hope it have good battery performance. Camera features 1.2MP front camera. There is no back camera in Nexus.

SEGA games on iPhone

Well, it's been a while since I played game such as Sonic, and I happened to find it on the Apple store today. The Sonic Episode 1 was borrowed heavily from the original Sonic and likewise, Episode 2 is borrowed from the second Sonic, reintroducing Miles “Tails” Prower as an AI controlled partner. 

The first game was pretty sluggish and was not up to standard...it's a shame for the Sonic fans as the reintroduction on the iPhone has not lived up to the standard expected. While the second game is no longer lacking in speed, there are sudden stops at times that doesn't seem to be normal. It would be fine if the physics were really fixed, but from a stopped position, Sonic still takes too long to get up to speed.

Anyway back to the game....at the press of a button, Miles help you fly, swim, and even do an awesome combined spin-dash attack which is near unstoppable.

Basically, the control was pretty straightforward but without much tweaking and customization, it felt kinda awkward. It worked well but not much excitement in playing. But then again, for those of you who miss Sonic, this one is for you...you may download the free trial or buy the full version...at this point, it costs only $4.99. There are quite a lot of old school elementary coming back....will be looking forward for more... 

Why Microsoft's 'Surface' Is A Big Strategy Shift

Microsoft's launch of its first-ever computer, in the form of a tablet called 'Surface', marks a major shift by the tech giant into the hardware space, as it seeks to replicate the success enjoyed by rival Apple, technology analysts tell CNBC.
"Microsoft's Surface is a premium class of device, which has integrated software, hardware and services," Rob Enderle, principal analyst at Enderle Group told CNBC on Tuesday. "It is positioned directly against Apple. This is Microsoft trying to do a better job than Apple at all three."
Unlike Apple, the software giant has relied in the past three decades on computer manufacturers to produce and market machines running its Windows franchise, which it's been struggling to re-invent. Apple, on the other hand, has adopted an integrated hardware-and-software approach, using its own operating system to power devices like the iPad and iPhone - a strategy that's proven to be a big success.
Enderle says the specifications of the new tablet - particularly the optical display - indicate that Microsoft is now ramping up its focus on hardware. "The Surface's optical display is the first to come into the market. You can play games on the device that you can't on the iPad," he said.
Some other features of the tablet include a 10.6 inch screen, a built-in stand, keyboard, plus front and rear cameras.
But according to Andrew Milroy, Vice President, ICT Research, Asia-Pacific at Frost & Sullivan, Microsoft may be a "little late" in the game. Windows has a negligble presence in the tablet operating system space, compared to Apple's iOS and Google's Android, which have 63 and 35 percent market share respectively.
He also raised concerns about the Surface potentially straining Microsoft's relations with companies like Dell, Lenovo and Hewlett-Packard which are reportedly developing their own tablets which will run on Windows 8.
While Enderle believes the Surface shows potential, the success of the product will ultimately depend on how much money Microsoft is willing to dedicate to the marketing and distribution of the product.
"On paper (the Surface) is a strong offering. If Microsoft spends whatever it takes to market and seed the product, it will be a success," he said.
"It's a huge marketing effort. A lot of the weight is going to be on the convincing consumers that Microsoft's product is better. This is potential for it to be a lot better than the iPad, but if they (Microsoft) can't explain it to the public, then they lose," he added.
