Nokia to launch Dual-SIM Windows 8 phone

Windows Dual-SIM - It is reported that Nokia is about to develop dual-sim Windows 8.1 phone. This information was leaked by evleaks. It informs that the new Nokia dual-sim mobile will be equipped with Windows 8.1 and the mobile phone is coded as Moneypenny.

According to U.S. media reports, the world's number one mobile operating system Android has Wi-Fi passwords backup function, if Android device connected to a Wi-Fi network, then the device can remember the login password. So the login creditails can be viewed by Google. It will be stored as file at Mountain View where Google headquaters is located.

The latest report shows that, global shipments of Android phones reached 187 million in the second quarter of this year, while the estimated annual shipments is as high as 748 million, and this figure does not even include the huge Android system Tablet PC products.

Many users using these Android phone or tablet will back up Android password and various other settings. Although Google has never directly said that it can read these Android device's Wi-Fi password.

From the Android 2.2 version, according to the default settings, Android devices can leak Wi-Fi passwords. Since this function is considered to be a good thing, most users do not change this setting. U.S. security expert Michael Horowitz said he doubted many Android users have never even seen this feature controls the configuration options. After all, it involves numerous system settings.

The Backup option is available in every Android device. Lets say Samsung, there will be option called "Back up my data”. While you chose this option your Wi-Fi password will be stored under Googles eye. We think the backup option means it just stores the copy of our data. But no one knows that it includes the password too.

Sony launches Firefox OS mobile in India

Sony planned to launch Firefox OS mobile in India. Sony Xperia E is a dual SIM Android mobile currently available in market, it will be dubbed to Firefox OS and available to the user in future. By this act Sony can launch this Firefox installed Xperia E for low price. They don’t have to work on hardware, all they need to do is just install Firefox OS in Xperia E. It saves them lot of production time and capital. There won’t be any price difference from the Android version since it uses the same hardware. Both Android and Firefox is an open source OS available for free and replacing with Firefox OS won’t affect the price. Release date of Sony Xperia E Firefox version is still not exposed but I expect it may take several months.

India is not the first country to have Firefox OS mobile. It already reached the hands of Poland, Venezuela, Spain, Colombia and Brazil consumers. I don’t know whether Firefox OS will occupy in the hearts of Indians. They are thickly confined to Android OS. I guess Firefox mobile phone will be a competition to Android mobile released under Rs.5K.  Indians are already satisfied with the Android smartphone what they have and so there won’t be need of a new OS. It take lot of time for Mozilla to persuade their handset to India.
