[Review] FIFA 2012

Well, I normally don't write about games or I hardly play much games but when it comes to football, I'm a little addicted. Anyway, as I was going through the apps on my iPhone 4, I decided to blog about the FIFA 2012.

When you tap on the FIFA app, this is what you get....it loads pretty quickly...not bad for an app as big as this one...

I like the interface very much and it's good that Rooney is the key figure here...after all, I'm a Red Devils' fan...

Alright, there are a few things that I want to compliment about EA Games in developing the FIFA 2012 app...it's simple to use and it's quick...while graphic might still need improvement, it's really one of those games that I felt worth the money...

Anyway, I go for a Quick Match which I think most people would...after all, playing games on the iPhone is more like passing time. I doubt I would go for the Manager Mode...

Well, when I tap on it, I get to select the league that I wanted....well, naturally, I go for my favourite team, Manchester United...and let's play against the best team at the moment, Barcelona!!

After making the team selection, here is the Pre-Match Central, where you get to choose your starting eleven, stadium, weather...etc...and to my surprise, I get to choose the type of ball I wanted to use for the game...

Initially, the ball chosen was Nike Seitiro - PL (not that I know what it means) but then I changed it into another ball.

Somehow, I like the yellow colour...and there you go, Nike Seitiro HI-VIS (whatever it means)...I happened to see Reebok ball as well but let's say I'm more into Nike than Reebok...it's something like I prefer Ronaldo than Messi. (haha!!)

After that, I make sure that I chose Old Trafford as the stadium...there is an option to choose for the weather....the image with the question mark means random and I go for that one...

Well well well, the Game Settings and I opt for 6 mins game play for halftime and I chose Beginner as the Difficulty Level...
I looked at the Starting 11 on my team and I think I'm good to go...

After that, it's kickoff time!!

The loading time is not too long and this is the image you'll see while waiting for the game to load...the similar bar loading at the bottom is there for those of you who are used to playing FIFA on the PC.

This is how it feels playing the FIFA 2012 on the iPhone 4.

The screen feels a little too small and while the button could be pressed easily, it felt awkward moving with it...and at times, my hands are blocking my view of the game. Nevertheless, it was one of the best controls that I have seen on the iPhone 4 for a football game thus far.




Alright here is the game: Manchester United vs FC Barcelona


As the game starts, it shows the stadium and the players warming up...pretty similar to the usual ones that we see on the PC...but one thing for sure....I was too used to the amazing graphic on the PC that it seems a little pixelated image on the iPhone 4, especially with the players...it reminds me of the earlier version of FIFA although this still seems to be better.

Alright, as you can see from the image above, the controls are here...it's fairly easy to understand....directions are controlled like how one used joystick...and then there is shoot, sprint, pass....basic stuff!!

When the opponents are having the ball, we have slide (tackle), sprint tackle, and switch. We could also switch players by tapping on the players that we wanted to use...pretty user friendly and smart I would say.

And here is the first goal!! Rooney!!

We have the replay immediately after that like the normal ones that we have on the PC...

Second goal! Rooney again!!

Corner kick! I kinda like the idea of tapping at the person that you wanted to cross to...it makes it easy in a way...which leads to the third goal!! Hernandez!!

Celebration was pretty real but the movement of the players feel a little awkward and look at Anderson here...definitely doesn't look like him here...and Hernandez....it just doesn't have any resemblance in it.


GOAL!! GOAL!! GOAL!!

And as the final whistle blow, we have the players walking out in dejection while some in celebration...

Final score: Manchester United 8 - 2 FC Barcelona

How I wish it is the real scoreline...nevertheless, the FIFA 2012 is definitely an amazing game on the iPhone 4....a game that requires more effort while playing....I guess it's one of those games that I would say worth the money...so if you haven't get yours, it's time to do so...especially for football fans!!

Automatic car? No longer a myth it seems

Well, if you have watch some of the action packed movies, you probably have seen amazing cars that could move automatically without anyone driving on it. Ahem...that used to be a fantasy but it seems that it will be a reality soon...though for a more practical reason.

Nokia Lumia 800

Well, first of all, I must admit this one thing before I start posting on Nokia Lumia 800....somehow deep down inside, I expected Microsoft to come out with something more significant with Nokia, but while Lumia did not hit the bar, it comes off quite good.

Let's not forget about the little brother, Nokia Lumia 710.

The Nokia Lumia 800 is something that is special because it is the first handset produced from the Nokia-Microsoft tied-up. The Nokia Lumia 800 shares its exterior styling with the previously substantially less hyped Nokia N9, a Meego-based smartphone, although the screen size is reduced from 3.9 inches (854 x 480 pixels) to 3.7 inches (800 x 480 pixels) to conform to the Windows Phone spec list.

One thing about Lumia that is definitely true: different from the others you have seen. Well, maybe the better way to put it is that Windows Phone 7.5 has been very much a different OS in comparison to Android, RIM and Apple's iOS. 

The physical appearance of the Nokia Lumia 800 is a dream to observe and handle, with its smooth curves fitting snugly to the hand both with and without the protective case provided in the purchase packaging.

That said, if you're used to handling the current crop of super slim handsets doing the rounds in today's phone shops, you can't help but feel the Lumia 800 is a little on the chunky side, even compared to the iPhone 4S thanks to it being around 10 per cent thicker.

Well, I'm going to put it a simple manner for Lumia...if you are looking for a cool, elegant design with a smooth, unique and clever interface, you can't help but to buy the Nokia Lumia 800. It has a speedy browser, a thumbs up to IE mobile for the first time and an amazing intuitive contacts linking. Like all other Windows Phone handsets, the People hub is a thrill to use and the device is way too cool for those who are into social networking. It also has an edge over other mobile handsets from other OS in terms of Office Mobile and integration with Xbox. One can't help but to gives a thumbs up for Microsoft effort in promoting the Windows Phone generation. Let's hope for a better upgrades soon, with the release of Windows 8...I'm sure the integration with the new OS will be a boost for Microsoft as well.

Now, on the downside, Microsoft is producing a device that seems a little backdated...if it were out during iPhone 1st or 2nd generation, then we are talking about competition...but at this point, Lumia is lacking of Flash video and front facing camera for video calling. 

In Nokia Lumia, video recording is not impressive and battery life is still an issue for this handset....well, the first joint collaboration has prove to be a good one, but it's time for both the giant companies to up their stake...after all, these handsets will be competing with Apple fanboys' iPhone 4S....not forgetting the many Droids out there as well....and did I mention about RIM? (never mind that...Blackberry has never been my taste....zzz)

Time to Change the "Money Concept"

Money concept a bane to the world:
I feel that money concept is the root cause of all the problems. "Money makes many things" - yes of course money makes problems too. Human created money concept after the barter system. Barter system refers to getting commodity by giving commodity.  Example: We can get sugar by giving salt. This system is changed to money system. We get commodity by providing money. This concept was diseased human brain. Each and every human moving towards money. They forget "what is love". Every one were confused what we are doing. Many humans around the world suffers without basic needs such as food, shelter and cloth. There is no one to care them. This money concept made humans to forget the humans who are suffering. This money concept divided humans into three categories such as high class, middle class and the poor. So this is the best time to change with any other alternative methods.


Problems in Money Concept:
Stress: IT revolution has grown well in India. Youths were working hard with sleepless nights. They are destructing their body and mind. All this happens because they need earn a huge bucks. Everything in this world depends on money. There is no place for affection.

Reasons for stress:

• Need to save your family.
• Future fear.
• Fear of money loss.
• Stress regarding education.

There are several reason for stress. But for every reason money seems to be the major cause. Why we need money then the answer is MONEY CONCEPT.

We earn money in order to live a peaceful life. But where is the peace? Money makes to forget everything. Money lead majority of humans in wrong way. I can prove that except new born babies all are suffering from stress.

Education: Indians were well know for education. But now education standard is decreasing all because of money concept. We have IIT'ans in India but till now we didn't find a man like Aryabhata. Aryabhata found the number '0' without zero there couldn't be any digital device in this world. Most of the colleges admit students by their donations not by the knowledge. Students learn for marks and they use mark as weapon to earn more money. There are only few countable number of students who learn for knowledge and invent some new things. Students forget that they learn to invent new miracles but this money concept changes the student mind.

Colleges, Schools were opened only for business purpose not to produce great Scholars. Now we can find many coaching centers and tuition centers all because of this money concept.

Poor Inventions: Scientist were forced to invent things that have more money value. I am not blaming the scientist. If they invent some things that doesn't reduces human burden then it is useless. So it is mandatory for a scientist to invent things that have greater money value.

Just think about the inventions that made in ancient days. Indian invented the extraction of Zinc. It is very tuff task to extract Zinc and no one in the world invented it. Only Indians invented the Zinc extraction process that too in ancient days. Think about the mega structures that present in India such as Taj Mahal, Meenakshi amman temple and lots of forts. Many predictions were made by astronomers without use of telescope. Indians found that there are 9 planets in solar system without using any optical instruments.

Where this inventions gone? This Money concept has eaten all this great inventions.

Discrimination: Discrimination is the biggest problem prevailing in this world. Some people has more than 10 villas and on the other end people with no home to live. Some spends Rs:1000  for a single meal and the other end with not even a penny to eat. Discrimination is major thing that made me to think "Money Concept" is unsuccessful.

Money Concept made to forget humanism. It divided the humans by the name of caste, religion, rich and poor. War, fight, ego and all bad human concepts were generated due to this money concept. We are struggling daily in our life all because of this silly money concept. We forget the meaning of Love. We forget the motto of our life. We failed to lead a peaceful life. Totally Money Concept made a great confusion among the mankind.
