Micromax A350 spotted in the wild, specs leaked

We all know that soon Micromax will be launching an octa-core smartphone. There have already been lots of rumours around Micomax's octa core phone and Canvas 5. 

Now a new model Micromax A350 has been spotted on Antutu benchmark and had 26886 benchmark score which is even more than Samsung Galaxy S4's (26147) and the HTC One 's(26556) Antutu scores.

If rumors are to be believed than A350 may also be carrying 2 GB RAM and Full HD display.

Micromax to launch Octa core phone early 2014

Micromax has always packed amazing features in its smartphones at an affordable price. And thats the biggest reason for the popularity of the company. With the Canvas 4  and Canvas Turbo Micromax offered a phone with just not great specs at great price but also innovative intuitive gesture controls
, like waving the hand over the phone to unlock it, Blow to unlock, answering a call simply by placing the phone on your ear, flip to silence,etc.

And now Micromax is supposedly planning to launch an Octa-core smartphone early next year according to MMXNewscaster. Most probably it will be the Mediatek's True octa core processor.

Micromax Canvas Magnus A117 Official pic leaked

Official press image of Micromax Canvas Magnus A117, the younger brother of Canvas Turbo has been leaked thanks to MMXnewscaster. The official specs and boot animation of Canvas Magnus were leaked earlier.


This smartphone will be having 1.5 Ghz MediaTek MT6589 processor, similar to Canvas Turbo but will have a 720p ( rumored 5 inch ) display and will be running Android 4.2.1 JellyBean.
Other expected specifications include 12MP rear and  5 MP front camera, 2000 mAh battery, 4 GB internal memory and 1 GB RAM.

Canvas Magnus looks quite stylish and sleek with its design language quite similar to Canvas Doodle 2.

Expected Launch date and price

Micromax Canvas Magnus A117 is expected to launch early next month and expected price is around 18,000 INR.

Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 leaked pics and details

Micromax has created a lot of hype with its upcoming flagship device, Canvas Turbo A250. Micromax made an intelligent move by making Hugh Jackman aka Wolverine as its brand ambassador and has also launched a new website for its upcoming device - www.canvasturbo.com


Below is the leaked pic of the 13MP rear camera of Canvas Turbo and above is its leaked sketch.

Micromax Canvas Turbo is scheduled to launch in November and this will be the first Micromax device to feature a 1080p display. Other previously leaked specs include Android JellyBean 4.2.1, Mediatek MT6589 quad-core processor, pre-installed BBM, Video pinning, Gesture contol and Voice unlock.

LEAK : Official Micromax Canvas Magnus A117 Specs

It is raining Micromax leaks. Micromax has not been able to keep its upcoming smartphones under wraps. The country's second largest smartphone maufacturer is gearing up for launching its new iteration of Canvas smartphones.

Leaked specs of Micromax A117 Canvas Magnus

Official name

Canvas Magnum name was already clear from the leaked boot animation screenshots.. The full name becomes clear from the build properties screenshot - 'A117'.  This device share a lot many features with its elder, costlier counterpart, The Micromax Canvas Turbo A250

 Chipset

Canvas Magnus has got MediaTek MT6589 chipset, its the same thats also in  Canvas Turbo. These chipsets are clocket at 1.5 GHz.

Operating System

Just like the elder brother( Canvas Turbo ),  this device also runs Android  4.2.1 JellyBean, not 4.3. Micromax must have surely planned an update later. ( I hope so! ).

• 13 Megapixel rear camera, 5 MP front facing camera
• 5 inch 720p display

LEAKED : Micromax Canvas 5 full Specifications

It seems that its not just Canvas Turbo and Canvas Magnus that Micromax is going to realease this festive season, there is one more device coming, Micromax Canvas 5. It is most probably coming in November end as we heard before.
Canvas 4 offered many premium features which were found in only high end smartphones at a low price and has been very popular smartphone.
Canvas 5 is also expected to be filled with more such innovative features and even more gestures which are the result of Micromax's alliance with Cube 26.

According to the rumours in the technology market the upcoming Canvas 5 will be featuring waterproof and dustresistant (IP55/IP58) durable design and is expected to pack a MediaTek Octa-core processor which MediaTek comfirmed is in works.

Also the rumours point to 4GB for RAM (I doubt that!) along with 32GB of internal memory, expandable upto 64 GB via Micro-SD card. Other expected features include Android Jelly Bean 4.3 OS, 5 inch display, 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera 4G connectivity ( Micromax is working with Reliance Jio ) , Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, microUSB, 3.5mm audio jack.
However these features have been comfirmed officially by Micromax and there is also no official word about pricing.

This flagship device is expected to launch in the November, most probably last week and shold be priced around 20,000INR to 21,000INR.

And also it seems that Canvas turbo may have display larger than 5 inches maybe near 6 inches.

Micromax Canvas turbo leaks out!

There was already much speculation about Micromax's next flagship device being Micromax Turbo. Earlier it was reported that Canvas Turbo will have a 5 inch display and will cost between 16000-20000 INR. Now MMXnewscaster, which  is renowned for Micromax leaks has released out this pic which gives us sneak peek of the upcoming Canvas Turbo aka A250.

The phone seems to have metallic edges (or full metallic build?). As per the leak this smartphone will sport a full HD display i.e. 1080 x 1920 display resolution along will a 1.5 gHz quad core processor at its heart. Full HD display for a device that costs  less than Rs.20,000 will be truly amazing!

There have also been rumours about Micromax Canvas 5 coming in November end. So are Canvas Turbo and Canvas 5 same devices or different, or 'Turbo' is just a code name. Well time will tell that.

Micromax Canvas 4, Doodle 2 and Canvas HD to get JellyBean 4.3 update soon

According to a new tweet by MMXNewscaster, which is renowned for Micromax leaks, Canvas Doodle 2 (A240), Canvas 4 (A210) and Canvas HD (A116) will be first to receive Android JellyBean 4.3 update. These three smartphones are the costliest smartphones offered by Micromax.

Canvas Doodle A111 and Canvas 2 plus (A110Q) are expected to get Jellybean 4.3 update in the second phase.

Back in July Micromax Announced that it will be releasing JellyBean 4.3 update for selected smartphones in Q4. Now MMXNewscaster have shared a pic showing the Android 4.3 JellyBean Camera interface on Micromax Canvas HD.

BBM coming this week to Android

BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) is coming this week to Android. Micromax announced today that its Canvas series smartphones will come with BBM pre-loaded by first week of October. Users can also download BBM app from Android Play Store. With  BBM you can connect to at-most 30 persons at a time and share voice notes and photographs.

Upcoming Micromax A63 leaked out!

Micromax has been climbing up the smartphone market share quickly and hoped to overtake Samsung as top Smartphone vendor in India by Diwali. After the recent launches of Canvas Fun A76 and Canvas Doodle 2 Micromax is ready for the launch of yet another budget  smartphone.

@MMXNewscaster which is already known for for leaking upcoming Micromax devices tweeted about a upcoming budget Micromax smartpphone A63. The device sports 4 inch WVGA touchscreen display and is powered by 1.3 Ghz Dual core processor and has 512MB RAM. Also the device has 2 megapixel rear camera and front VGA camera and 1500mAh battery. the device runs Android 4.2.
Although the price of the phone has not yet been disclosed but given these specifications the price must be near Rs. 6000

Micromax Canvas HD Pro A120 spotted online

New Micromax smartphones are coming back to back. This time a smartphone named Micromax Canvas HD Pro A120 with 5.5 inch full HD display has emerged at Sulekha, an online shopping website. It runs Android 4.2.1 operating system, has 2 GB of ram, 8 GB of internal storage and is powered by Quad Core 2 GHz Cortex A7 and 3000mAh battery.

Also the device has a 13 Megapixel shooter and 3.2 megapixel front facing camera and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity.
But take this information with a grain of salt or two because Sulekha also writes

We received information about Micromax Canvas Pro HD A120 from an anonymous speculator who also predicts that this phone may be released soon. This information passed on to us by the source stands unverified.

Micromax Canvas Doodle leaked! Beware Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8

Hey Guys, The Next Big Thing from the desi smartphone giant Micromax is coming soon.
Micromax posted on their facebook page that the new Canvas is coming

"Doodle, draw, scribble or sketch! Give your imagination a bigger canvas. Canvas Doodle 2 - Coming Soon!"

And soon after the alleged photos of canvas were released from @MMXNewscaster. This phone is expected to have the screen size of 5.5 inch or may be even more (5.8inch) and the expected price tag is 14,990INR. This smartphone will directly challenge Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 which was released in June 2013 and runs Android 4.2 JellyBean. It has a 5.8 inch capacitive TFT touchscreen having resolution 540 x 960 has the Pixel per inch(ppi) are 190.

The design language seems to be greatly inspired by Samsung (naming too?).
So we have a single led flash with 13megapixel camera and also a secondary mic for voice cancellation.
Also if the leaked specifications are to be believed then Micromax Canvas 4 Mediatek powered MT6589 1.2Ghz Quad Core processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB ROM. The GPU is PowerVR Series 5XT.
And the smartphone carries a 5 inch HD  display(not full HD) i.e. 1280 x 720 pixels which make upto 312 pixels per inch.
The camera is capable to record 1080p@30fps videos. Also included is image stabalization, face and smile detection and photosphere.
And the secondary camera is 5 megapixel capable of recording HD videos(really?).

The phone runs Android 4.2.1 out of the box and comes with a 2100mAH battery. The device is 8.9mm thin and weighs and weighs 145gms.

Hey! but these are just leaks.

lets see what comes out on July 28th.

I will be very disappointed in Canvas 4 does not comes with full HD display.

Micromax Canvas A110Q leaks

Micromax Canvas Series is getting popular, too popular every second. Now A110Q has leaked on the web which is most probably A110 successor i.e. A110 now has upgraded it dual core processor to quad core and has got a 'Q' with it.
And it has got Android  4.2.1 Jelly Bean Operating system (JB4.2 on the cheap, cool!!)
If we believe the previous leaks then this phone may have same resolution as its predecessor - 480*854 ,
512mb or 1gb ram and rest as more or less same as A110.
There is one more possibility - 'The screen shot may be fake' as well
oops !

The very famous, very affordable Micromax Canvas series has a new member A111 Doodle, though it has not been officially announced but it has appeared on many online stores.
With a whooping 5.3'' display this device definitely falls in the phablet category. As the name suggests the main ability is to draw sketches with stylus.

Will we have to carry the stylus separately on can canvas engulf it?

So Micromax is supposedly about to release a new phone rather smartphone namely A92 Canvas Lite.
