Micromax A111 vs Micromax A110Q. Which one to buy?

Both the dual sim phones, Micromax Smartphones A110Q (Canvas 2 plus) and A111 (Canvas Doodle) have nearly the same price tag but have some important differences. So which one to buy? Lets find out.


Design
Micromax A110Q has a 5 inch touchscreen compared to the 5.3 inch on the A111 while the resolution of the displays on both the phones is the same i.e.480*854. As a result the image is more sharper on the Canvas 2 plus.  A110 has an IPS(In-Plane Switching) display compared to the the TN(Twisted Nematic) display on the A111. Surely the IPS display is better than TN.

   Camera
Both the phones have an 8 megapixel rear autofocus camera and a 2 megapixel front camera and both have dual LED flash. But the rear camera on the A111 is capable of recording only 480p videos whilst with A110Q you can record 720p videos.

Battery
In the A110Q resides 2000mAh Battery giving standby time of 280 hrs and talktime of 6 hrs  and A111 (has a larger screen) stores 2100mAh battery giving standby time of 220 hrs and talktime of 6.5 hrs.

A110q comes with android 4.2 out of the box

Both phones have 3g, Wifi , Bluetooth and GPS but A110Q has bluetooth v4.0 campared to the v2.1 on the A111

A110Q has 1.4 gigs of internal memory available for apps and 1GB available for mass storage.
A111 has 1.34 GB internal memory available for apps and 1.22 GB for mass storage
The memory on both the phones can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD
But A110Q has 1 GB of RAM compared to 512 MB on A111. So thats a great advantage.

Both the phones have quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz.
A110Q has MediaTek’s MTK MT6589 processor while A111 has Qualcomm 8225Q processor

Result : A111 comes with a stylus( Some people would like to Doodle away!)
But thats a small pro against lots of cons.
The winner is clear.  A110Q wins the battle by a large margin if not huge.
