Windows 8 pre-beta released (windows developer preview)

The Windows 8 Developer Preview provides an surprisingly complete look metro U.I. at the next generation of Windows, complete with touch interface, brand new desktop apps, and more.

Microsoft has released Windows 8 as Windows Developer Preview. You can easily get the ISO image of Windows 8 Developer Preview from Microsoft Official website. The Windows Developer Preview is a pre-beta version of Windows 8 for developers.

A lot of the changes make more sense, for instance having the URL bar at the bottom makes it much easier to access with your thumb when you're holding a tablet.

Microsoft insists that all Windows 7 apps will run in Windows 8, and that any machine that can run Windows 7 can run Windows 8
System Requirements for Windows 8 Developer Preview

Windows Developer Preview works great on the same hardware that powers Windows Vista and Windows 7:
 ■1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
■1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
■16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
■DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
■Taking advantage of touch input requires a screen that supports multi-touch

The Developer Preview is an interesting release and will give you a great feel for how Windows 8 will look and feel.

How to install windows 7 from USB drive easy tutorial

Hi guys to install windows 7 from USB you need one of these two software
1) windows 7 USB tool from Microsoft
or
2) WinToFlash from Novicorp (image mounting software may needed like poweriso)
In this tutorial we use WinToFlash because win7 usb tool only support official (original) iso image from microsoft "you know what i mean"

so first put your win 7 dvd into your rom or mount an iso image first, open WinToFlash and click on wizard then choose  win 7 drive and then choose USB and click next it will format and make bootable USB automatically
then go to bios by hitting F2 or DEL depending upon ur motherboard and select first boot device as "USB HDD" then hit F10 and save setting then as usally your windows setup will start and you can install windows 7 from usb as easy it gets

You can find the video of above discussion  go to my youtube channel "up512" for video guide and tutorial on how to  install windows 7 from USB

Compuetr Hardware Information

Computer Hardware Information

• Central Processing Unit (CPU):
The Component of the computer system that performs Processing Function is called “Central Processing Unit”. The CPU is known as the “Brain Of Computer”. It is composed of following main components:

1. Control Unit:
The control unit is in charge of the activities of the CPU. It doesnot process or store data itself, but instructs various parts of computer in performing their tasks. The instructions given by the user to the computer are instructed by control unit which then sends our signals to circuit within the CPU to execute these instructions.

2. Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU):
It performs the Mathematical Operations such as Addition,
Subtraction & any logical operations. A logical operation is performed by instructing the computer to make a comparison and then to take an action based on the result of that comparison. The Arithmetic logical operations are only types of instructions that the ALU is able to execute.

• Primary Storage Unit
The Primary Storage Unit (also referred as main memory,
Primary Memory or Internal Storage) temporarily results of Processing. It consists he many storage locations. Each locations has a unique address associated with it. This address allows the computer to locate items that have been stored in memory.

• Peripheral Devices:
Peripheral devices are divided into two categories

1. Input Devices:
Programs and Data that are entered into the computer to be
Processed are called input. The word data refers to facts that have been collected but not organized in any meaningful way. When data is processed or converted to some meaningful form, the result is the information. Input devices are used to enter data into computer so that it can be processed. There are input devices like Keyboard, Mouse etc.

2. Output Devices:
Output Devices, such as Monitor Screen and Printer allow the
User to examine the computers output or processing results. Displaying output on the screen, gives the result to the user in convenient readable form this output is referred as “Soft Copy”
However, these results are lost as soon as something else replaces them on the screen. Printing the result on the paper however, gives the user a way of permanently saving this information this output is called “Hard Copy”.

• Secondary Storage Unit:
Computer Have only a limited amount of storage space in the Primary memory storage unit because this type of memory is expensive to provide. Programs, Information, Data that need to be saved for later use can be transferred to secondary storage (also known as Auxiliary Storage) Disk and Tape Devices are commonly used. When computer need to process it they transferred back into the primary memory.
For Ex. Hard Disk, Compact Disks (CD), Digital Versatile Disk (DVD), Pen Drives etc.

Generations Of Computer

What is Computer?

Computer is an Electronic device which is basically used for Data Processing. Computer takes input and Process it to give output.

Generations Of Computer

1. First Generation(1951-59):
Vacuum Tubes:
In this Generation Vacuum Tubes were used as their principle component. They could store 10,000 To 20,000 Characters. They Use the Magnetic Core Memory.
For Ex.. ENIAC the first Electronic computer had 10,000 Vacuum Tubes.

2. Second Generation(1959-64):
Transistors:
In this Generation the Vacuum Tubes were replaced by Transistors. The concept Of the Multi Programming was introduced in this Generation.
For Ex. IBM 1401 (International Business Machine)

3. Third Generation(1964-70):
Integrated Circuits:
Third Generation introduced Integrated Circuits(IC) the equivalent of hundreds and thousands of Transistors on a small Silicon Chip. This reduced the cost and size of Computers. This technology produced powerful microcomputers. Silicon is basic metal to make Computer Chips. Computer consist of many chips placed on a electronic boards called as the “Printed Circuit Boards.”

4. fourth Generation(1970 Above):
Microprocessors:
The microprocessor brought the fourth generation of computer, as thousands of integrated circuits on a small silicon chip. The Magnetic Core Memory was replaced by Metal Oxide Semiconductor (MOS) Memories.

5. Fifth Generation:
Artificial Intelligence:
Fifth Generation of Computer based on Artificial Intelligence, are still in development. This is the branch of computer science. There are some applications of Artificial Intelligence Like Playing Games, Robotics etc.
