Design
HTC Desire V has the dimensions of 118.5 x 62.3 x 9.3 mm and weight of 114 grams. Desire V is very comfortable when held because it has a thin body. On the back, there is a silver material is elliptical around the camera. This make the device is very elegant.
About the button, the HTC Desire V has volume buttons on the right. While the power button and the 3.5 mm audio jack is placed on the top. On the left, there is a micro USB port.
Display
HTC Desire V brings TFT capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, 480 x 800 pixels, 4.0 inches (~ 233 ppi pixel density), Multitouch, HTC Sense v4.0 UI. It is not much different from other HTC, this smartphone look so luxurious.
Desire V using capacitive display 16 million colors and has a WVGA resolution. The display of this phone has a density of 233 ppi which displays crystal clear images even if you are under the sun. HTC Desire V also could receive up to 4 touch points.
Processor and Memory
To improve performance, Desire V has been using single core processor which has a speed of 1GHz Cortex-A5. With that speed, you are able to perform a variety of activities. When you do multitasking, you do not need to worry because the HTC Desire V has 512MB of RAM. Adreno 200 GPU is also presented in this phone that can display sharper images when playing games or watching video.
Unfortunately, Desire V only has 95MB internal memory and 0.95 MB for application installation. But you do not need to worry because this phone has an external memory up to 32 GB.
OS and UI
HTC Desire V has been using OS Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3. But even so, the phone display is still using the display Sense. This may be done by HTC to make you feel right at home when holding the phone. Sense display uses active lockscreen and three sensitive buttons back, home and task switcher. On the menu, HTC Desire V gives you a menu page is divided into categories of all, frequent, and downloads. So interest, it isn't?
Camera
Desire V has a very satisfying camera is of 5MP (2592x1552 pixels). In addition, this camera also has interesting features like the review duration, image adjustment, ISO, and others. It's very cool for those of you who like to take pictures both indoors and outdoors. The resulting image quality is quite sharp and detailed.
For the video problem, this phone has a video recorder; video quality: 800x480; video supported formats: playback; 3gp, 3g2, Mp4, Wmv (Windows Media Video 9), Avi (MP4 ASP MP3); Recording: mp4. Unfortunately, for recording video, the HTC Desire V can only produce a video with a maximum resolution of 480p.
Connectivity
The network for SIM1 is GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and SIM2 is GSM 900/1800/1900. HTC Desire V has a dual SIM which you can use 2 SIM cards in one phone. Nevertheless, not yet dual standby, so it will show busy signal if there is a incoming calls to another SIM when the phone is used.
When browsing, you can only use the SIM 1 HSDPA connection. SIM 2 can only be used in 2G networks. For other connections, Desire V has Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Tethering, Wi-Fi Direct; Connection: Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP and Micro-USB port.
Conclusion
HTC Desire V has the OS is up to date and has dual SIM. Sector of the camera was also quite good class. But the price of this phone is quite expensive when compared to other phones with the same features. Internal memory is also very minimal. Dual SIM owned, deserves to be a mainstay.
