Micromax Canvas 4 head to head with Samsung Galaxy Grand duos

Micromax and Samsung have been very successful in the Indian market. Fonearena did a  comparison of Micromax's flagship Canvas 4 and Samsung galaxy grand duos.

Here are the key points:

• Micromax Canvas 4 has better build quality than Galaxy Grand. Galaxy Grand is wider and thicker than canvas 4 and looks bulky
• Canvas 4 takes better pictures than Galaxy Grand, thanks to it 13Megapixel Camera
• Canvas 4's display has more pixel density than the one on Galaxy Grand which means pictures are sharper on Canvas. And also Canvas 4's display has better viewing angles.
• In terms of performance, the Canvas 4 is relatively faster and the UI is smoother. The Canvas 4 is also faster in opening apps and switching between them. In benchmarks, the Canvas 4 beats the Galaxy Grand in most of the CPU benchmarks like AnTuTu, Quadrant while Grand beats the Canvas 4 in GPU intensive benchmarks like NeNamark2.
• Canvas 4 houses a 2000mAh battery whilst Grand houses 2100mAh battery. Hence we can expect Galaxy Grand to have better battery life. Actually it does.
