Google Now is your personalized search home page. On Google now you can get weather report, directions, daily news, famous places around you, navigation in maps, sports update and more.
Start using Google Now:
To start Google Now voice recognition just open Google Now and click to mic on the top or say OK Google/Google.
(Use US English as your default language and then set hot word detection in settings)
Voice Search is activates now showing "Speak Now."
Now speak the commands and see the results . it's really amazing experience while using voice command on your android device. Today I am going to share Google Now voice commands and or uses with you. I hope you like it. Share this with your friends and write me your feedback in comment.
Open an application on your device:
Go to Google Now and say Ok Google or tap the mic. Just say open app followed by the name of applications you want to open.
For example open gallery
Call any contact from your device:
In Google Now just say call shahrukh khan.
now your call will be connected to shahrukh khan with in few minutes. Or say dial followed by number make a call.
Set an alarm to wake up:
To setup Alarm just say "set alarm for 1 hour from now" or "set alarm for 7.15 am" or "set alarm for 2 hours from now, label, meeting is done".
Note your important data by just saying it in front of your device:
To make a note just say"Note to self" and talk continue. This will create audio and text note that will be mailed to your Gmail account.
Scan a Barcode Or QR Code:
If you want to scan a Barcode or QR Code then Just say Scan a Barcode. It will open barcode scanner..
Create an Event in Calendar:
Just say "Create a Calendar event: followed by event details."
For example Create a Calender event: Meeting with staff in Mumbai,Friday noon.
Open a website:
Just say "Go to www.google.com" it will open Google.
Listen a song from your device:
Just say "Listen to Followed by name of song,artist or album."
For example Listen to Sun Raha Hai Na Tu-Aashiqi 2.
You just need to install Google Play Music App.
To open Map of any location:
Just say "Map of followed by location name."
For example "Map of India." it will show you map of India.
Get Directions & Step By Step Navigation:
To get direction to a location just say " Direction to followed by name of place"
it will show you the map with direction. If you want navigation then say "Navigate to followed by location". It will guide you step by step to go there.
Post Google+ Status:
Just say 'Post to Google+ followed by your massage'.
See Your Calendar Event Agenda:
Say"What will my day look like tomorrow?"
It will show you calendar agenda for tomorrow that you have any events.
Set Reminder In Your Phone:
Say"Remind me to followed by Message & Time"
Ex. Remind me to buy new book at 6.00 pm
Whether Report On Your device:
Say"Will it Ran Today?" it will show you the whether report and tell you that rain is possible or not.
Google Now Supports Offline voice recognition also.
To use offline recognition download offline language package from settings. You can use some commands offline like open App, Make a Call, Set Reminders and more.
