Micromax the world's 12th largest smartphone maker have decided to launch its first 4G LTE smartphone in new year 2014. After the huge success of Micromax Canvas 4 and Micromax Canvas Turbo they are working for this special smartphone. As per IDC Micromax is second largest domestic smartphone maker in India with 22% shares. As usual we are getting some leaks about this smartphone from MMXnewscaster. As per leak Micromax Canvas 5 will have 5 inch Full HD 1080p Display. The smart phone is running on 1.7GHz Octa Core Processor with powerful 2GB RAM.
This will be Micromax's first Octa Core smartphone. Micromax canvas 5 will comes with 16GB internal storage capacity and there is no information about the microSD card slot. Micromax have updated the battery backup up to 3000 mAh like recently launched Micromax Canvas Juice A77. Micromax canvas 5 is also a dual sim smartphone. Rahul Sharma the co-founder of Micromax have confirmed that they are ready to launch 4G LTE smartphone early in 2014.
