Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma's reaction to Nokia-Microsoft deal

Referring to the Nokia's aquisition by Microsoft, Rahul Sharma, co-founder of Micromax said
It's fantastic news,I thought they would rethink and partner with Google,I thought that after the disaster with Windows operating system, they would do a rethink and tie up with Google,But I am happy that this option has been ruled out.

Windows phone has surely now helped Nokia revive its fortune, but but Microsoft's aquisition of Nokia has phased out the possbility of Nokia ever making an Android device. Everyone knows Windows phone is no competition to Android operating system. Hence this is a very good news for Micromax as they can grab the remaining of Nokia's market share.
Nokia commanded 46% smartphone market share in Q2 2011 in India and now holds mere 5% market share. Whilst Micromax has ascended from 1% to 22% in the similar period.

Micromax Rocks!
