Micromax's alliance with Cube 26 will allow it to access high-end technologies

Micromax has signed an alliance with Cube 26, a US based smartphone software company that will allow it  to access high end technologies without the need to spend money on doing the independent research.
Cube 26 will allow Micromax and some other local OEMs to use its unique and sophisticated technology which include Presence Detection, Natural Gesture Recognition,
Gaze Tracking, Face/Body Recognition, Age/Gender Identification, Emotion Detection and Gaming Interaction.
This will greatly help Micromax to further increase the quality of its offerings, provide top-notch tecnologies to users and compete with other global players like Samsung, Apple, Nokia.

Micromax has already released a smartphone which has incorporated Cube 26 technologies, The Micromax Canvas 4. Thats why canvas 4 has 'Look away to pause', 'Blow to unlock' and Auto-call" (automatic answering of a phone call when a user brings the phone to his ear)
